Painter
Painter Required to prepare and paint our Model Figures. This is work that may be done at home if within a reasonable driving, delivery collection and picking up distance from our workshops. We are seeking a painter with some relevant experience of painting and assembling Model figures or Assembly Model Kits.
You will need to live in the Grand Est Region of France, within driving and working distance of our workshops. area. You must hold a Valid French residency Status and Nationality Status, and have no previous Police or criminal records. Please note that due to tooling and technical issues not every Mountford Kit is currently available, a situation Max Chevallier hopes to change over time, as repairs and new tooling are produced again. ADVANCE NOTICE DUCAL MARCHING BANDS
DUCAL 1/32 Scale Glossy Painted Marching bands Figures.
We are currently exploring the possibility of re issuing a number of the rare sets from Jac and Thelma Ducs former range of Glossy Toy Soldiers.
We own the surviving range of Ducal and the original Master patterns for nearly forty years worth of jac and Thelma Ducs work from "Fort Ducal".
We have a number of Jacs original Moulds and several New re made Moulds are possible for certain sets IF Collector customer Interest proves sufficient in the figures.
We will publish what can be re made available on our site, but meanwhile, please do not hesitate to send to us your DUCAL Figure wish and wanted lists. It will be deciscively your manifested level of customer interest that will decide if we go ahead with the required investment in tooling or not to make the range again. We loook forward to hearing from collectors of Ducal worldwide.
We need to see your collectors wish or wanted lists for existing Ducal figures. Please name specific Regimental bands or Drummers, Riders etc on your lists and send them to us on the following e mail. We require realisticaly around a hundred to a hundred and fifty lists and names, addresses of collectors in order to justify the investment in new tooling (using Jack and Thelmas original Master figures we have).

Toy Soldiers
Our toy soldiers collection brings battles to life with detailed models that honor historical conflicts. From ancient wars to modern warfare, each figure tells a story of valor and sacrifice.
THE SCULPTORS
The original figure "sculpts" were made by the following Master workers in the field. Al Charles, Sid Horton, Charles Stadden, Alan Caton, Mike French, John Tassel, Norman harrington, and Keith Durham and Peter Armstrong of Rosedale and Border Miniatures. Our Romans and Zulus were designed by John Gittins of JG Miniatures. Our Larger 80 and 100 and 120 MM scale figures were sculpted by D F Grieve and Alan Ball (of Greenwood and Ball Fame). Our "Rose Miniatures Egyptian and Gladiator Range were originaly produced by Russell and Mary Gammage until 1984.
All DUCAL Figures were designed and produced for over Thirty years by Jack and Thelma Duke "Eastleigh" at "Fort Ducal" .
Artillery and Vehicle Kit Masters were originaly designed and made by ALMARK Miniatures, and by David James Love then trading as Mountford Miniatures. Artillery Guns by Alan Caton. Under Two Flags produced originaly by Jock Couts and Alan Turner.
Model Kits
Unleash your creativity with our model kits that allow you to build intricate historical scenes and vehicles. Engage in a hands-on experience that combines craftsmanship and history.
To assemble our Kits, you will need some Hobby Tools. Tweezers, a hand held pair of sprue cutters or trimmers, A set of hand held Files, a small Pin Vice or Hand held drill, a sharp Craft knife. A small hobby vice is useful, and a set of "Helping Hands" Clips with a Magnifying Glass is also usefull. Always work in a well lit area.
Our Metal Kits can be assembled using Epoxy or Super Glue Cement, or equally, if preffered can be silver Soudered together. Our kits contain small or sometimes harp metal parts, and are not suitable for children under the age of Fourteen, Risk of Choking hazard. Please follow safety guide and keep Glues, paints and work tools away from small children and Pets.
Most of our toy soldier figures and kits are made entirely from Lead Free White Metal, but occassionaly some might have Resin parts. Please be careful if drilling, fileing or cutting resin parts, Resin Dusts are Poisonous !!! Please wear a safety face mask if doing this.
Keep work away from Chidren, pets and Aquariums. Do not eat or drink while working, and do not smoke. Paint thinners or glues can give off noxious or flamamble fumes! Keep your work and hobby tools and paints glues and finishes away from sources of heat or flame, and work in a well ventilated area. We cannot be held liable for acciddents or damages caused by failing to follow safety guides.
